These terms govern your use of Tap In Tap Out, available at tapintapout.com.au and on the App Store / Google Play. By using the app you agree to them.
Note for legal review. This document is a working draft prepared for a closed beta. Before launching to the public App Store you should have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Australian consumer law and any platform-specific requirements.
By creating an account or using Tap In Tap Out, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be 18 years or older to use Tap In Tap Out. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. You also confirm that you are physically located somewhere we offer the service (currently Queensland, Australia).
You are responsible for your own account, including:
You may only create one account per person.
You agree to use Tap In Tap Out lawfully and respectfully. The following are prohibited:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.
Any user can report another user from inside the app. Reports are reviewed privately. We do not tell the reported user a report has been filed. Outcomes range from a warning through to permanent account termination.
We act on reports at our discretion. We are not obliged to take any specific action, but we will do our best to keep the platform safe.
You keep ownership of anything you upload (e.g. profile photos, messages). By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it in the app as required to provide the service. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
We can terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your account is dormant for an extended period, or if we are required to do so by law.
Tap In Tap Out is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that:
Your interactions with other users are your own responsibility. We are not a party to those interactions.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability to you arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount (if any) you have paid us in the previous 12 months.
This does not exclude any non-excludable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these terms. If we change anything material we will notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Queensland.
